Refund policy

Kali's Kardhouse – Sales, Return, and Pre-Order Policy

Effective Date: 8/16/2025

By purchasing from Kali's Kardhouse, whether through our online store or physical locations, you are entering into a binding agreement to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. All Sales Final

1.1 All sales are final. Due to the collectible nature of trading cards and related products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds except as required by law.

1.2 This policy applies to all products, including but not limited to sealed boxes, packs, singles, and accessories.


2. Order Cancellations & Processing Fees

2.1 Any order cancellation, for any reason, is subject to a 10% processing fee to cover payment processing and administrative costs.

2.2 Pre-order cancellations are strictly prohibited, except at Kali's Kardhouse’s sole discretion. If approved, they are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Customers who cancel a pre-order will have their account flagged and will be prohibited from placing further pre-orders for 365 days.


3. Refunds & Returns for Restricted Accounts

3.1 Orders placed by customers whose accounts have been restricted, blocked, or otherwise denied service under our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.

3.2 If an order is placed in violation of these restrictions, it will be cancelled without notice, and any payment collected may be withheld or refunded at our sole discretion. Kali's Kardhouse reserves the right to deduct costs, fees, or damages arising from such transactions prior to issuing any refund.


4. Discounts and Promotions

4.1 Discounts, promotional codes, or special offers cannot be applied retroactively to any completed purchase.

5. Anti-Bot Policy

5.1 The use of automated purchasing software (“bots”) is strictly prohibited.
5.2 If we determine that a bot was used:

  • The order will be canceled

  • The customer’s IP address will be permanently banned

  • A 10% penalty fee will be charged

     

6. Damages & Manufacturer Defects

6.1 Customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours of receipt if items are defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect.

6.2 Kali's Kardhouse sells manufacturer-sealed products. We are not responsible for any imperfections or defects in factory-sealed packaging or contents, including but not limited to:

  • Small tears in shrink wrap
  • Corner dings or dents
  • Surface scuffs or scratches
  • Printing or packaging inconsistencies

6.3 Packaging Disclaimer – Packaging and boxes are designed to protect the contents inside. As packaging and boxes may inadvertently be subjected to wear and tear during shipping, we are unable to offer replacement items or replace packaging for any resulting imperfections, bends, scuffs, or indentations.

Any product concerns relating to manufacturer defects must be directed to the manufacturer.

7. Pre-Order Terms

7.1 By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Payment is collected at the time of order, not shipment.

  • Per Pokémon and distributor agreements, items cannot ship before the official release date.

  • Release dates are subject to change by the manufacturer or distributor.

Pre-orders are subject to allocation. If supply is limited, orders will be fulfilled in the order they were received.

Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items will not ship until all items are available.

7.2 Except for manufacturer shortages, shipping delays, or acts beyond our control, pre-orders are considered a firm commitment to purchase and are non-refundable.

8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

8.1 Jurisdiction & Venue – This agreement and all transactions with Kali's Kardhouse shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan, and the parties hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

8.2 Binding Arbitration – Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to a purchase from Kali's Kardhouse, including chargebacks, shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered thereon in any court of competent jurisdiction.

8.3 Chargebacks – By making a purchase, you agree that initiating a chargeback without first contacting Kali's Kardhouse to resolve the issue constitutes a breach of contract. We will pursue recovery of all chargeback amounts, associated fees, and legal costs to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies. These terms are legally binding and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
